Friends and Fans!

We have been lucky enough to participate in The Peak Performance Project over the past few month. It is an incredible program for BC artists, where you receive a crash course on how to succeed in the music industry. We have done a series of challenges and learned an incredible amount about how to expand our band.

The Final stage of the project is voting. We could really use your vote so that we can win $102,700.00. It would help us grow in an unimaginable way. Our fans are what have helped us over the past 5 years, and we ask for your help again now. (And you could win a custom snowboard too.)

And like and share our status on either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Thank you all so much. We appreciate all you do for us, and couldn’t have gotten here without you.

Last weekend we put on Fernie’s First Colour Crawl. A 5.5km easy walk/run/crawl around Fernie where participants got colour thrown at them.
We organized the event to raise money for two local charities, The Emily Brydon Youth Foundation and The Fernie and District Arts Council to start a youth concert series initiative in town.
With 450 registrants, the event was a massive success. We even made ridiculous spray painted suits to celebrate the occasion.

Thanks so much to everyone came out!

And thank you to all of our volunteers and sponsors who made the event possible!

We Covered “Young Blood” by The Naked and Famous in a Treehouse

September 20th, 2014

Last Monday we asked our friends on Facebook where they would like to see us play an acoustic cover song and promised to deliver a video.  The choices were a hot tub, treehouse, or trampoline.  We were fairly sure the inter-web would vote us into our speedos/bikini and make us awkwardly play our instruments over the gurgling steam of a hot tub, but to our surprise (relief), you voted us to perform a cover song in a TREEHOUSE!

We were honoured to play at this years Keloha Festival in Kelowna, BC and The Naked and Famous headlined the show.  We got to take in their epic show from the side stage and they ended the night with their anthem “Young Blood”.  So we decided to cover this great song for you in a tree fort in Fernie, BC.  Thanks Nick Nault for shooting this video for us at the drop of hat and thanks Mac and Fynn for letting us take over your epic clubhouse in the trees.
